I'm always experimenting. Experimenting with new colours, or techniques, or combinations of materials. Something new to keep the creative juices flowing. This is a result of a combination of new acrylics and method to achieve this lacy overlay of teal over a powerful red/orange hue. I love its intensity and colour combination. It was an 'Impromptu' decision, hence the name.
I was thoroughly pleased to find out that this painting came in second place in FAA online contest 'Abstracts in Red'.
